It started with a photograph. A set in Rose check on an unmade white bed, and the bed looked wrong. Not untidy, just from a different house.
The same cloth, larger
A duvet cover is two rectangles and a row of buttons. The hard part was finding cloth woven wide enough to need no seam. It took most of a year.
Now most of our pyjama cloths come as a bed set too. In winter that means flannel: the cocoa gingham is the same brushed cotton on the bed and on the person sitting in it.
Most people buy one, then the other.
