We started rolling towels because the shelf in the studio bathroom is shallow. A folded stack fell over every time someone took one from the middle.
How we do it
Fold the towel in half lengthways, then roll it from the short end, not too tight. The loops stay upright and the towel keeps its shape.
It also works for pyjamas in a suitcase. Not for sheets.
