The mill in Barcelos sent a metre of terry with an order of towels. It sat on the cutting table for a week before one of us cut a shirt from it.
Warmer than it looks
Terry has loops on both sides, so it holds warmth and takes water. A terry shirt is what you put on straight out of the bath, and it does the drying for you.
Same cut as the cotton sets, with the cuff turned back once. Wash at forty, no softener.
